ECO-FRIENDLY DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION AT RPS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SECTOR -89

 RPS International School celebrated the spirit of Dussehra with a creative and meaningful activity in which students of Grades III–V crafted an eco-friendly effigy of Ravana using environment-friendly materials.

The activity helped students understand the significance of Dussehra, symbolising the victory of good over evil, while spreading awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

Through this hands-on experience, students showcased their creativity, teamwork, and sense of responsibility towards the environment. The activity beautifully combined cultural learning with environmental awareness, reinforcing the message that celebrations can be joyful as well as eco-friendly. 

A heartfelt appreciation to the Activity Team for their innovative ideas and dedicated efforts in planning and organising this meaningful activity.

Special appreciation to the Class Teachers of Grades III–V for their seamless execution, active involvement, and dedicated guidance in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the activity. Their efforts in engaging students and bringing the concept to life are truly commendable.

 The students of class lll (Almond) conducted a special morning assembly to celebrate National Unity Day, a day dedicated to honouring the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Honesty and Integrity Assembly Primary Wing

 “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.”         — Thomas Jefferson Today, talented students presented a thought-provoking assembly on the values of Honesty and Integrity. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society. School Principal, Ms. Shiva Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on the same. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the assembly.

Martin Today, the students of class V (Subhash Chandra Bose) conducted a thought-provoking assembly on the theme ‘Power of Reading’. The programme began with the Gayatri Mantra and the morning prayer, filling the atmosphere with positivity.  The Thought of the Day beautifully highlighted how reading enriches our minds and souls, followed by the News Headlines that kept everyone updated. Students then delivered an inspiring speech on how reading is like a silent teacher, guiding us through history, science, imagination, and life’s lessons. They emphasized that every book we open shapes us  into wiser, kinder, and more confident individuals.
