SANSKRIT DAY SPECIAL ASSEMBLY(GRADE I & II)
क्रोधः प्रीतिं प्रणाशयति मानो विनयनाशनः । माया मित्त्राणि नाशयति लोभः सर्वविनाशनः ॥ "Anger destroys love, pride destroys modesty, hypocrisy destroys friendship, while avarice destroys everything.” Sanskrit language has been the most important medium in lending continuity to Indian Civilization. To recognize, commemorate and revive the ancient Indian language “SANSKRIT”, a special assembly was organised by GRADE I-II students. The assembly began with the prayer, a welcome dance performance followed by a thought and recitations of vedas and shlokas in Sanskrit from the Bhagavad-Gita. The students spoke about the significance of the language and ancient facts. Principal Ma'am graced the occasion and encouraged the children. The special purpose of this assembly was to inspire the students to conserve our rich and invaluable culture and be proud of our heritage.
