Role Play Activity (Grade I & II)
“Nothing is more precious than INDEPENDENCE and LIBERTY.” Today INDIA is celebrating 76th Independence Day. This would not have been possible without the determination, strong will and sacrifices of our freedom fighters. They are the reason why we are living so peacefully today. To celebrate the 76th INDEPENDENCE DAY, few activities were organised for the students of GRADE I-II. A colouring activity was conducted in which they had to colour a picture of an Indian Flag. The students showed their artistic side and coloured the flag so beautifully and with three colours that our Indian flag comprises saffron, white and green. To make them aware about the various freedom fighters of our country a “Role Play Activity” was also been conducted. In which students came in the costumes of their favourite freedom fighters and spoke few lines about them. Through this activity they also had a sense of patriotism.
