 Rakhi is the thread that binds two souls in a bond of joy forever. Raksha bandhan is not just about Rakhi , roli and mithai. It is also about the unique bond between a brother and a sister.  To strengthen the bond and to celebrate this auspicious festival,Rakhi Making Activity was planned on Tuesday, 30th August , 2023.  Students had brought different items to make and decorate rakhis. They were thrilled to make rakhis for their brothers and sisters. All enjoyed the activity.

Rakhi is the thread that binds two souls in a bond of joy forever. A love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. 'Raksha Bandhan' is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding when a sister ties a Rakhi - a holy thread - around her brother's wrist, and prays for his long life and the brother reciprocates by offering her the gifts she loves the most. Rakshabandhan was the topic of an enlightening assembly which was conducted by the sparkling students of V Bal Gangadhar Tilak on 28 August 2023. The assembly started with a prayer and was followed by a motivating thought for the day. The news headlines were next in line which was preceded by an informative speech on this beautiful festival. The enthusiastic students showcased the spirit of Rakshabandhan through a mesmerizing dance performance.
