Inter House Science Quiz competition Class IV

 "Science is the acceptance of what works and the rejection of what does not. That needs more courage than we might think.”              Jacob Bronowski Quizzes that are well-targeted and custom-made can boost self-esteem and confidence. When students can challenge themselves and succeed, their confidence grows.  Keeping the same in mind, RPS organized an Inter House Science Quiz competition for classes IV - V on Friday, 1 December 2023. Children were very enthusiastic throughout all the rounds and participated with full zeal and energy. It was a successful event conducted by Science Faculty.

Subject Enrichment Activity Pre Primary

  *"Don't tell people your plans, Show them your results."* To improve the communication and descriptive skills of children Subject Enrichment Activity on the topic *My Favourite Means of Transport* was organised for UKG kids. The students learned and experienced public speaking - a skill a child will use throughout his life. This activity gave each child a chance to be the center of attention in the class as he or she spoke a few lines about the transport they chose. All the students participated actively in the activity.

Books-My Best Friend Assembly Class I

  Books serve as invaluable companions, enriching our minds with knowledge and reshaping our perspectives on the world. Exploring good literature has the power to transform how we perceive things, fostering a positive outlook while nurturing our imagination and critical thinking. Grade 1 students from "Apple" organized a special assembly titled "Books - My Best Friend," showcasing a beautiful poem and delivering insightful thoughts in both English and Hindi. A particularly engaging speech highlighted the value of books in enhancing students' vocabulary. Their performance, portraying the roles of both students and teachers, was witnessed with admiration. Respected Principal mam, Ms. Shiva Yadav illuminated the significance of books, linking them to the curriculum and the students' future. She praised the students for their splendid performance and bestowed blessings upon them. The event underscored the profound impact books have on shaping young minds.

World Television Day Assembly Pre Primary

  Television was once referred to as the 'idiot box', because back in those days television was all about entertainment. However, as time passed, television gave us knowledge along with entertainment. But as we all know, with lots of benefits it also has a negative side. Thus, it is extremely important to keep a check on watching television. Students of LKG Sunflower presented an assembly on Television- a boon or a bane?. Kids were made aware about the benefits and drawbacks of using television through a small skit along with thoughts. A beautiful dance was also performed by them. It was indeed an informative assembly giving everyone a very important message. " With the change of time and the digital era we cannot expect our generations to be completely away from television but, it's our responsibility to help them to limit it by setting some guidelines for it."
