Janmashtami celebration (Kindergarten Wing)
"Krishna is the lord who teaches us to perform Karma without hoping for results....And therefore, the best way to celebrate Janmashtami is to follow his teachings...." Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna, one of the most powerful and famous reincarnation of Lord Vishnu. To mark the occasion, Preschool of RPS Gurugram celebrated Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and fun. All the students were dressed up in the attire of either Krishna or Radha. They were narrated with a story of Lord Krishna and were explained why this festival is celebrated, followed by a video of Lord Krishna. Special Assembly was also organized to celebrate the festival wherein kids enjoyed watching the dance performance of Krishna and Radha along with gopis. They also did various colourful activities such as flute making activity, maakhan matki decoration activity.
