World Food Day Assembly Class II

 *"We should respect the food we get because it is the blessing of God and love from someone who cares for us."*


World Food Day is observed every year on 16th October in remembrance of the day when the food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations to spread awareness about the food crisis. The primary focus is to tackle global hunger and strive to eradicate hunger across the World. It is important to make efforts towards imbibing more sustainable habits to help nourish communities.

A special assembly was presented by Grade 2 Cranberry students. They participated with full zeal and zest. The assembly started with a prayer song, followed by a pledge and students presented beautiful thoughts in Hindi as well as in English. A glorious skit was performed by the students which signified the importance of food in our life. Students presented a fabulous dance performance which enthralled the audience. Respected Principal Ma'am, Ms.Shiva Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and provided valuable guidance and encouragement to all the children.The assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
