Basant Panchami Celebration

 "As harsh winter ends and mustard flowers bloom,

May your life see no tough time or any gloom,"

Basant Panchami is an occasion which marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge and wisdom. Yellow colour - representative of spiritual knowledge is given importance on this day.

This auspicious day was celebrated by the Pre- Primary kids of RPS sec- 89 with great enthusiasm. They were told about the importance of the day, significance of Saraswati Pujan. They also enjoyed listening and singing  'Saraswati Vandana' and made various craft activities such as sunflower making, tulip flower making and kite making. All the kids were in festive mood and were excited throughout the session.
