Independence Day

"True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right."

Independence Day motivates us to bond with each other irrespective of which religion, cast, creed, community or culture we belong to. To mark the importance of this day, the Pre-Primary Kids of RPS Gurugram celebrated a virtual 75th Independence Day with great enthusiasm.

Learners were explained that the Independence Day marks the end of the British Rule in the year 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian Nation. They were also explained the significance of our tricolour flag, about the freedom fighters and how India became free on August 15, 1947.

All the teachers and the students were dressed up in tricolour attire. Various activities were performed by the students such as poem recitation, dance, presentation of freedom fighters and slogans given by them.

The celebration came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem, which amazed the minds and warmed the hearts of the students, teachers and their parents.
