*HURRAY! SUMMER VACTIONS ARE HERE!* " *The tan will fade but the memories will last forever."* Summer holiday is a good time for fun and frolic. It is the season when temperatures soar all around the country. We spend time going on vacation to beaches  and cooler destinations during summer  to escape the heat. Holidays are always a means of rejuvenation and relaxation. It becomes fun time for tiny tots which begins with the last day in school  before vacation as they get ready to enjoy the summer  retreat. It was time for them to know more about Holidays so a Special Assembly was conducted by our little ones of UKG Swan to make their friends aware of do's and don'ts while they are on vacation. The Assembly became even more exciting with dance , music , rhymes and reminding them to visit "NANI HOUSE".   “Every word wants to be a sight word when it grows up.” Sight Words, an interesting topic of kindergarten, which teaches them how to read a word by just seeing it. Students of LKG did an activity where they learnt a few sight words. They did this activity very excitedly. They used pixomo kits and flash cards to do this. They placed the pixomo letters on sight words flash cards by recognising them. It was a great activity which was done by all students with great enthusiasm.

  *"Yellow is the symbolic colour of spreading sunshine."* Yellow is one of the happiest colours of the spectrum. It is the colour of happiness, cheerfulness, fun, an illuminating essence resonating strongly with children. Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism. With an objective to recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour , *YELLOW COLOUR DAY* was organised for pre-primary classes. To mark this day very special, students and the teachers came dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. Students made various colourful crafts such as yellow coloured icecream lollies, windmills, smileys with happy and sad emotions, and tiger eye masks which they took it as a takeaway. The motive of this yellow colour day was to make them aware of yellow colour and its significance.
