Third Language Activities – Exploring Languages, Culture and Values

 As part of our Third Language learning programme, students participated in a series of engaging activities designed to make language learning meaningful, interactive and enjoyable.

Through the French Salutations Activity, students learnt and practised simple French greetings and polite expressions. They wrote the salutations and explored how they can be used in everyday conversations, building their vocabulary, writing skills and confidence in the language.

The Japanese Greetings Activity introduced students to simple Japanese words and expressions used in daily communication. Along with developing their language skills, the activity gave them an opportunity to appreciate the culture and traditions associated with the language.

The Shloka Recitation Activity helped students connect with India’s rich linguistic and cultural heritage. Students recited Sanskrit shlokas with confidence, clarity and concentration, developing their pronunciation, memory and oratory skills while reflecting on the values and wisdom embedded in the verses.

Together, these activities made Third Language learning a journey of discovery, helping students develop communication skills while appreciating different languages, cultures and traditions.

 The students of class lll (Almond) conducted a special morning assembly to celebrate National Unity Day, a day dedicated to honouring the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Honesty and Integrity Assembly Primary Wing

 “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.”         — Thomas Jefferson Today, talented students presented a thought-provoking assembly on the values of Honesty and Integrity. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society. School Principal, Ms. Shiva Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on the same. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the assembly.

Value of Time Assembly Primary Wing

 “Time is what we want most but what we use is the least."- William penn Today, the students of class V RLB conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the theme ‘ Value of Time.’ — an essential life skill that shapes discipline, productivity, and success. The assembly began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. It was followed by a brief skit showing how proper time management can help students balance studies, hobbies, and rest. Through speeches, role plays, and real-life examples, the students highlighted how managing time well reduces stress and increases efficiency. The importance of creating timetables, setting priorities, and avoiding procrastination was beautifully presented. The message was loud and clear — “Time is the most valuable resource.
