๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŽค English Declamation Competition – A Celebration of Expression! ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŒŸ

 

The English Declamation Competition for students of Grades III to V was conducted with great enthusiasm and zeal at our school. ๐Ÿ’ซ The event witnessed students displaying remarkable confidence, clarity, and expression as they took to the stage and presented their thoughts with conviction.

The young speakers of Grade III spoke eloquently on the topic “Importance of Seasons”, highlighting the beauty and significance of nature in our lives. ๐ŸŒธ☀️๐Ÿ❄️ Students of Grades IV and V delivered impactful speeches on “Save Environment” and “Climate Change”, creating awareness about the urgent need to protect our planet. ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฑ

The preliminary rounds were conducted on 20th and 21st April, followed by the much-awaited finale on 24th April (Grades III & IV) and 27th April (Grade V). ๐Ÿ†✨

Each participant impressed the audience with their confidence, voice modulation, and powerful delivery, making the competition truly memorable. The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants and found it challenging to select the winners. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’

The event served as a wonderful platform for students to enhance their public speaking skills, build confidence, and express themselves effectively. ๐ŸŒˆ

Martin Today, the students of class V (Subhash Chandra Bose) conducted a thought-provoking assembly on the theme ‘Power of Reading’. The programme began with the Gayatri Mantra and the morning prayer, filling the atmosphere with positivity.  The Thought of the Day beautifully highlighted how reading enriches our minds and souls, followed by the News Headlines that kept everyone updated. Students then delivered an inspiring speech on how reading is like a silent teacher, guiding us through history, science, imagination, and life’s lessons. They emphasized that every book we open shapes us  into wiser, kinder, and more confident individuals. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society.
