🌿♻️ Trash to Treasure Activity – A Creative Step Towards Sustainability! ♻️🌿

We, the RPSIANS, are delighted to share that the “Trash to Treasure” Craft Activity for Grades III to V was successfully conducted. ✨

The activity, based on the concept of the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, aimed to instill awareness about sustainable living and responsible waste management among our young learners.

Students enthusiastically created three types of bins – Blue, Green, and Red – using waste materials such as cartons, paper cups, and ice cream sticks. Their creativity truly shone through as they beautifully designed and decorated their bins. 🎨

Adding to the learning experience, students confidently expressed their thoughts by speaking a few lines on the importance of waste segregation and how it contributes to a cleaner and healthier environment. 🌍

The activity not only enhanced their creativity and communication skills but also encouraged them to become responsible and eco-conscious citizens.

Martin Today, the students of class V (Subhash Chandra Bose) conducted a thought-provoking assembly on the theme ‘Power of Reading’. The programme began with the Gayatri Mantra and the morning prayer, filling the atmosphere with positivity.  The Thought of the Day beautifully highlighted how reading enriches our minds and souls, followed by the News Headlines that kept everyone updated. Students then delivered an inspiring speech on how reading is like a silent teacher, guiding us through history, science, imagination, and life’s lessons. They emphasized that every book we open shapes us  into wiser, kinder, and more confident individuals. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society.
