Kisan Diwas Celebration Pre-Primary
“Kisan Diwas is a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and invaluable contribution of the farmers who nourish our nation.”
The Pre-Primary Wing of RPS International School, Sector 89, celebrated Kisan Diwas with great respect and enthusiasm. The campus echoed with excitement as our little ones came dressed as farmers and crops, looking absolutely adorable while paying tribute to the backbone of our country—the farmers who work tirelessly to feed the nation. The celebration aimed to sensitize young learners to the importance of farmers and to instill values of hard work, gratitude, and respect for nature. The programme commenced with the Thought of the Day, Word of the Day, and Amazing Facts about Indian farmers. This was followed by delightful poems, songs, and performances that highlighted the significance of agriculture in our everyday lives. The children were also introduced to various farming tools, crops, and the importance of 23rd December, observed as Kisan Diwas in honour of the birth anniversary of Chaudhary Charan Singh.
Guided by Ms. Jyoti and Ms. Sangeeta, the event turned into a meaningful and joyful learning experience, nurturing a sense of respect and appreciation for farmers in young hearts. The confident and enthusiastic participation of the tiny tots made the Kisan Diwas celebration truly memorable.
