 We love purple, We love purple

Yes we do, Yes we do
Purple grapes and eggplant,
Purple plums and grapejuice
Just for me, Just for you

Colours always fascinate us. Purple represents the future, the imagination and dreams, spiritually calming the emotions. It symbolizes royalty, nobility free spirit and dignity.

It was a free spirited day in Pre-Primary section of RPS Sec-89 where all children as well as the teachers came dressed in their purple best. Kids were shown the making of purple colour by mixing red and blue. They also did various art and craft activities like making of grapes with balloon printing, bubblewrap printing in eggplant and making violet colour flowers using bottle cap dabbing.

The celebration prompted young ones to think how colour enhances and influences our lives. It was a remarkable day filled with fun and enthusiasm.

World Health Day

Health is a human right, not a privilege. Let’s build a healthier, fairer world for everyone. An informative assembly was conducted by the zestful students of Class V on 7th April 2025. The students had highlighted the importance of one's health and shared few ways to stay healthy. The programme began  with the assemblage taking the blessings of the almighty and everyone wished for a good health. The assembly proceeded by keeping everyone up to date with the news headlines. A thought for the day was also shared.  Students took the stage and delved into the significance of ensuring good health and well-being for all. They discussed the importance of access to healthcare, mental wellness, and promoting healthier lifestyles, shedding light on various aspects of SDG-3 and its impact on individuals and communities worldwide. Shivrati Special Assembly (Grade 1 & 2)

 "On this Mahashivratri, May Lord Shiva bless you with peace, prosperity, and happiness." A special assembly was conducted by the students of grade 2 Strawberry. It began with the Gayatri Mantra and prayer song sung by all the students followed by Hindi and English thoughts of the day. A beautiful poem was recited by Aanvi and Aanya. Solo dance was performed by Srinika Sanyal. Amazing facts about lord Shiva were presented by the students. A wonderful group dance was performed by the students.  "Embrace the teachings of lord Shiva, for in simplicity, you will find the truth". Students showed their feelings towards lord Shiva through this assembly. Respected Principal Ma'am, Ms. Shiva Yadav appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on Shivratri and encouraged the students towards prayer and religious values.
