Heritage Transport Museum

 

‘Museum is a place for exploration and excitement.’ 

 

On April 19, 2022 Grade V students along with their facilitators visited theHeritage Transport Museum. The trip began with lot of enthusiasm and vigour. The museum showcased automobile gallery including vintage collection, bus collection, two wheelers, palanquin bearers, bullock carts, horse carriages etc. The art gallery included advertisements from old Indian dailies and magazines, automobile spare parts, collectible Indian toys on transport, old postcards and so on. The students were shown a short documentary film based on the life of human beings before and after the invention of aeroplanes. Students were thrilled to know about the different facts associated with the different articles. On the whole it was an enriching learning experience for the students.

 “Time is what we want most but what we use is the least."- William penn Today, the students of class V RLB conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the theme ‘ Value of Time.’ — an essential life skill that shapes discipline, productivity, and success. It was followed by a brief skit showing how proper time management can help students balance studies, hobbies, and rest. Through speeches, role plays, and real-life examples, the students highlighted how managing time well reduces stress and increases efficiency. World Health Day

Health is a human right, not a privilege. Let’s build a healthier, fairer world for everyone. An informative assembly was conducted by the zestful students of Class V on 7th April 2025. The students had highlighted the importance of one's health and shared few ways to stay healthy. The programme began  with the assemblage taking the blessings of the almighty and everyone wished for a good health. The assembly proceeded by keeping everyone up to date with the news headlines. A thought for the day was also shared.  Students took the stage and delved into the significance of ensuring good health and well-being for all. They discussed the importance of access to healthcare, mental wellness, and promoting healthier lifestyles, shedding light on various aspects of SDG-3 and its impact on individuals and communities worldwide. Shivrati Special Assembly (Grade 1 & 2)

 "On this Mahashivratri, May Lord Shiva bless you with peace, prosperity, and happiness." A special assembly was conducted by the students of grade 2 Strawberry. It began with the Gayatri Mantra and prayer song sung by all the students followed by Hindi and English thoughts of the day. A beautiful poem was recited by Aanvi and Aanya. Solo dance was performed by Srinika Sanyal. Amazing facts about lord Shiva were presented by the students. A wonderful group dance was performed by the students.  "Embrace the teachings of lord Shiva, for in simplicity, you will find the truth". Students showed their feelings towards lord Shiva through this assembly. Respected Principal Ma'am, Ms. Shiva Yadav appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on Shivratri and encouraged the students towards prayer and religious values. The national anthem was sung by the students at the end of the assembly.
