Christmas Celebration (Day 1- Bell Making Activity)

 The festival of Christmas falls every year on 25th of December and it marks the birthday of Lord Jesus Christ. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy in the whole world. 

To celebrate this festival, RPS Sec 89, conducted Christmas week in which series of fun activities were conducted in whole week for the students of grade I to V.

Day 1

Bell Making Activity

Christmas festive spirit was started with Bell Making Activity. Students made beautiful bells using paper cups. They were very excited to do this activity and displayed their artistic side. 

Bells hold a significance in this festival as they announce the coming or arrival of an event or occasion. Bells are rung during Christmas to announce the arrival of the season and to proclaim the birth of Christ.

Honesty and Integrity Assembly Primary Wing

 “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.”         — Thomas Jefferson Today, talented students presented a thought-provoking assembly on the values of Honesty and Integrity. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society. School Principal, Ms. Shiva Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on the same. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the assembly.

Value of Time Assembly Primary Wing

 “Time is what we want most but what we use is the least."- William penn Today, the students of class V RLB conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the theme ‘ Value of Time.’ — an essential life skill that shapes discipline, productivity, and success. The assembly began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. It was followed by a brief skit showing how proper time management can help students balance studies, hobbies, and rest. Through speeches, role plays, and real-life examples, the students highlighted how managing time well reduces stress and increases efficiency. The importance of creating timetables, setting priorities, and avoiding procrastination was beautifully presented. The message was loud and clear — “Time is the most valuable resource.
