Halloween Celebration

 'Trick or treat,

Bags of sweets,

Ghosts are walking

down the street'

Halloween is a fun day observed in various parts the world on 31st October every year.

It is the most anticipated celebration of the fall season for the young children. To keep up this spirit, The Pre-Primary kids of RPS Sec-89 geared up to celebrate this international festival. 

The students eagerly and enthusiastically made scary handmade crafts like puffy ghosts and also enjoyed watching Halloween Movie. 

Students of classes I & II dressed up for Fancy Dress Competition in Halloween costumes‐ traditionally  those of monsters such as ghosts, skeletons, witches and devils and spoke few lines on the character.

Various art and craft activities like Bat making, Pumpkin Decoration, Mask Making for the students of grade III to V.  

Students were very excited to be part of this celebration.

Celebrating international festivals helps in teaching cultural diversity to students.

 The students of class lll (Almond) conducted a special morning assembly to celebrate National Unity Day, a day dedicated to honouring the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. Honesty and Integrity Assembly Primary Wing

 “Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.”         — Thomas Jefferson Today, talented students presented a thought-provoking assembly on the values of Honesty and Integrity. Through inspiring speeches, meaningful skits, and heartfelt quotations, they reminded us that truthfulness is not just about words, but about living a life guided by strong moral principles. The programme began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. The assembly highlighted how honesty builds trust, while integrity ensures that our actions match our words—even when no one is watching. The students conveyed that these values are the foundation of a good character and a harmonious society. School Principal, Ms. Shiva Yadav, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on the same. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the assembly.

Value of Time Assembly Primary Wing

 “Time is what we want most but what we use is the least."- William penn Today, the students of class V RLB conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the theme ‘ Value of Time.’ — an essential life skill that shapes discipline, productivity, and success. The assembly began with the prayer, proceeded by news headlines and the thought of the day. It was followed by a brief skit showing how proper time management can help students balance studies, hobbies, and rest. Through speeches, role plays, and real-life examples, the students highlighted how managing time well reduces stress and increases efficiency. The importance of creating timetables, setting priorities, and avoiding procrastination was beautifully presented. The message was loud and clear — “Time is the most valuable resource.
