Teacher's Day Celebration

 "A parent is the first teacher and a teacher is the second parent who shapes the future of a child." Teacher's Day is celebrated in India every year on 5th September to appreciate the efforts of teachers in the life of students- the leaders of tomorrow. This day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who besides being the second President of India was also a visionary educator. Little RPSians of RPS Sec 89 celebrated this day with full enthusiasm and zeal. Enacting as a teacher activity was conducted wherein Pre-Primary students participated and expressed their love and gratitude towards their teachers. In Class I and II, activity 'Enact as a teacher' which was organized wherein students portrayed themselves as their favourite teacher. It was indeed a treat to the eyes and ears. Blue Colour Day

 "Blue is the color of sky- the limit of your imagination, the beginning of our dreams." Blue is a cool and calming color that shows creativity, intelligence, trust, loyalty, confidence and truth. In order to empathise the importance of blue colour, little RPSians celebrated BLUE COLOR DAY on 6 August, 2021. All the teachers and students were dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. Pre nursery ,LKG and UKG kids made different craft of aquatic animals. Blue Color Day was an amazing experience which had a long lasting effect on every student. Children enjoyed the activities with immense enthusiasm and zeal.

Independence Day

"True Independence and freedom can only exist in doing what's right." Independence Day motivates us to bond with each other irrespective of which religion, cast, creed, community or culture we belong to. To mark the importance of this day, the Pre-Primary Kids of RPS Gurugram celebrated a virtual 75th Independence Day with great enthusiasm. Learners were explained that the Independence Day marks the end of the British Rule in the year 1947 and the establishment of a free and independent Indian Nation. They were also explained the significance of our tricolour flag, about the freedom fighters and how India became free on August 15, 1947. All the teachers and the students were dressed up in tricolour attire. Various activities were performed by the students such as poem recitation, dance, presentation of freedom fighters and slogans given by them.
