Day 2 Carol Singing activity

 Christmas is truly Christmas when we celebrate it by giving the light of love to those who need it most. The singing of carols reminds us that God, in his love for us, sent his son to be one of us. Just as that first christmas was marked by singing, so christians through the centuries have celebrated and borne witness through song to the coming of the Messiah. To celebrate Christmas week ,Carol Singing activity was done on Day 2 .  Children enjoyed themselves very much singing Carols together and learnt their significance.  

Day 1: Santa Caps 🎅 Making Activity

  🎄🤶🎄Christmas day is celebrated all over the world on December 25. People celebrate Christmas day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ✝️—who is believed to be the Messiah. Christmas day celebration can be traced back to the mid-fourth century in Asia Minor, now known as Turkey. During the festival, Christians gathered to eat the Feast of the Nativity of Christ, and the consumption of bread and cookies was a common custom during this time. Throughout Europe, Christians began to celebrate Christmas day by lighting candles 🕯️ on trees 🎄and singing carols by candlelight. Today, Christmas is celebrated in many different parts of the world by people of all beliefs alike. To celebrate this wonderful festival , RPSIS-89 planned different activities for the whole Christmas week, for Classes Pre-Primary to V. On Day 1, students made Santa caps 🎅.All the lovely kids enjoyed themselves doing the fun activity . They had a great time learning the importance of the festival.

Special Assembly (Theme: Armed Forces Flag Day) Grade I-II

 "The union of hearts, the union of hands, And the flag of our Union forever.”  Since 1949, 7th December is observed as the Armed Forces Flag Day throughout the country to honour the martyrs and the men in uniform who valiantly fought & continue to fight on our borders to safeguard the country's honour. Soldiers are one of the greatest assets of any country. They are the guardians of the 7th December nation and protect its citizens at all costs. To fulfill their duties, soldiers have sacrificed a lot of things in their lives. The country is forever indebted to these gallant heroes who lay down their lives in the service towards the motherland.The special assembly of grade I and II began with the Gayatri mantra followed by school prayer. Assembly (Grade I-II)

 "A child deserves a champion - a teacher  Who will never give up on them,  who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possible be."  Special assembly by Grade 1&2 was conducted where a  radio show, A  talk with RPSGOS Chairperson ma'am, Dr.Pavitra Rao and CEO Sir, Er.Manish Rao was showcased. The power of radio is not that it speaks to millions,But that it speaks intimately and privately to each one of those millions.Anchors took the stage and offered a lively introduction of the assembly. Assembly was started by Gayatri Mantra proceeding by prayer song then radio show in which students of grade II became RJs , Chairperson Maam and CEO Sir. It was a special talk with these unique personalities of RPS. In between, students also perform advertisements, jokes, and news, and special effects were added by the choir group in between the talk show.
