The multifarious activities equip the learners with the most age-appropriate skills favouring the holistic growth in synergy with their environment. Experiential learning gives wings to the exuberant minds of the young RPSians, steering them from ‘being taught’ to the paradigm of ‘guided self learning’.

  Fine and gross motor practice are important components of early learning, and incorporating nature into these practices is a really fun way to make learning enjoyable.  V is for Vase, is a beautiful compliment to a botany activity or as an educational craft. Flowers can actually serve as really great inspiration for some beautiful kids’ artwork! Here are some glimpses of students' master pieces where they combined nature with art.

Activities in Pre-Primary : Paper Bag Making & Life Cycle of Butterfly

The pandemic did not compromise the planned calendar of events, simply witnessed a shift in venue to the virtual world. Proceeding with the same zeal in their hearts, students of Pre-Primary wing participated in the virtual Paper Bag Making activity and Life cycle of Butterfly activity conducted by RPS International School ,Sec-89. The objective of the Paper bag making activity was to ignite the need to adopt paper bags instead of the handy plastic bags. This was done to m ake them aware about the threat caused by the plastic bags to the environment. Quite enthusiastic about the whole activity, every participant got recycled papers accessible at their places and converted them into handy paper bags available for their personal use. This activity resulted in increased participation towards improving Mother Nature. Children are naturally curious. They wonder where things came from, how things happen, and ask lots of questions! Online English Recitation Activity

The Pre-Primary Wing of RPS89 organised an Online English Recitation Activity for the young buds. The activity was organised with the aim of enhancing the oratory skills of the students and helped develop their confidence. The young orators recited the rhymes with enthusiasm, complete with expressions and voice modulation. Seeing their hidden talents come to the fore was a true delight for the teachers and parents.

Pre-Primary Children Celebrated Gandhi Jayanti

  “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever” said Gandhiji. The ongoing pandemic notwithstanding, the Young Buds joyfully participated in numerous online activities like making of charkha & Gandhi cap, coloring as a mark of devotion on this Gandhi Jayanti. It’s heartening to see how smaller children are truly celebrating the freedom spirit of Gandhiji.

The ongoing pandemic notwithstanding, the Young Buds of Grade III-V joyfully participated in numerous online activities as a mark of devotion on this Gandhi Jayanti. Themes of the activity : Swacch Abhiyan, Say no to Plastic, Satyamev Jayate, Path of Truth and Non-Violence.
