World Food Day Activity

“Food is our common ground — a universal experience.” 🌾

RPS International School, Sector–89, celebrated World Food Day with great enthusiasm and awareness. The event aimed to highlight the importance of healthy eating habits, gratitude towards farmers, and the value of food in our lives.

Different engaging activities were conducted for Grades III to V:

Grade III: Students prepared beautiful placards showcasing different nutrients and spoke a few lines about their importance in our daily diet.

Grade IV: Students expressed their gratitude to farmers by making creative thank-you cards, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

Grade V: A fun and informative Nutrient Quiz was organized, where students enthusiastically participated and tested their knowledge of healthy foods.

The activities were conducted by the Science Department during the zero period. Students participated wholeheartedly and learned the value of food, nutrition, and thankfulness. The celebration truly reinforced the message — “Every meal counts; waste less, share more!” 🌍🥗
