Global Handwashing Day Activity Pre-Primary Wing

 "Wash, rinse, protect,

Clean hands, brighter smiles."

Handwashing is the first basic step towards achieving any goal of development as it helps saving lives. Global Handwashing Day is observed every year in October. It is an international promotion campaign to motivate people around the world to improve their handwashing habits.

The students of the pre primary wing of RPS-89 celebrated this day enthusiastically wherein they were explained that hygiene must be practiced in our daily life. Use soap and water for handwashing for atleast 40 seconds. Washing hands at critical points of the day and washing with soap are both important. Kids were also explained the steps of correct handwashing through live demonstration and experiment of black pepper and soap. Kids excitedly did the experiment and understood the importance and steps of handwashing.

World Health Day

Health is a human right, not a privilege. Let’s build a healthier, fairer world for everyone. An informative assembly was conducted by the zestful students of Class V on 7th April 2025. The students had highlighted the importance of one's health and shared few ways to stay healthy. The programme began  with the assemblage taking the blessings of the almighty and everyone wished for a good health. The assembly proceeded by keeping everyone up to date with the news headlines. A thought for the day was also shared.  Students took the stage and delved into the significance of ensuring good health and well-being for all. They discussed the importance of access to healthcare, mental wellness, and promoting healthier lifestyles, shedding light on various aspects of SDG-3 and its impact on individuals and communities worldwide. Good Manners Assembly Grade II

 "Life is all about manners. Nothing else matter". To emphasize the significance of Good Manners, a special assembly was presented by the students of grade 2 Dark Chocolate. It began with 'Gayatri Mantra' and prayer song sung by all the students followed by Hindi and English thoughts of the day. A beautiful poem was recited by a student and after that a short speech was delivered on good manners. A glorious skit was also performed by the students which signified the importance of manners.
