Disaster Risk Reduction Assembly (Primary Wing)
Disasters teach us lessons that preparation can prevent.
Today, the students of Grade V – Bipin Chandra Pal conducted a thoughtful and informative assembly on the theme “Disaster Risk Reduction.”
The assembly began with a soulful morning prayer, followed by the thought of the day – “Prevention is the key to resilience”, setting the tone for the session. The young anchors Mahika and Shrey beautifully led the programme, ensuring that each segment flowed smoothly ; from the news headlines to the main presentation on disaster preparedness. Through informative talks and presentations by Avya, Geet and more students, they highlighted the importance of being aware, prepared and united in times of natural disasters. They shared valuable precautions and safety measures to minimize risks and protect lives during such calamities. The assembly concluded with inspiring words from the class teacher, who appreciated the students for their awareness and teamwork, encouraging everyone to be proactive and resilient in the face of challenges. The assembly ended with the National Anthem, filling everyone with pride and a renewed sense of responsibility towards building a safer and more resilient community.
