RPS International School, Sec 89 held a special assembly to celebrate National Education Day, observed every year on November 11th to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister. This day reminds us of the importance of education and our responsibility to uphold the values of knowledge, learning, and progress.
The assembly began with the prayer, followed by a pledge to contribute positively to our nation’s growth through education. The students then presented an inspiring speech about Maulana Azad’s life and his contributions toward building a strong foundation for education in India. They shared insights into how he envisioned education as a tool for unity, peace, and empowerment.
A short skit was also enacted by the students, showcasing the transformation education brings to individuals and communities. It highlighted the importance of equal access to education for all children, regardless of background or gender, reflecting Maulana Azad’s vision for a literate and progressive India.
Following the skit, students recited quotes from famous leaders and scholars, emphasizing the significance of education in personal and national growth. The assembly concluded with a speech by our Respected Principal ma’am, Ms. Shiva Yadav, who encouraged students to follow the path of knowledge, respect their teachers, and strive for excellence in all they do.
