*Diwali Diya Making at RPSIS-89*
A Festive Celebration of CreativityRPS International School in Sector 89, Gurugram, recently hosted a delightful Diwali *Diya Making activity* for its young learners from *Grades 1 and 2.* The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity and the spirit of Diwali.
With their hands eager to craft, the students were provided with a variety of materials, including paper, paints, and glitter. As they molded the paper plate into traditional diyas, their faces beamed with excitement and anticipation. The air was filled with the sounds of laughter and chatter as the children shared ideas and techniques.
Once the diyas were cut, it was time to add their personal touch. The students dipped their creations into colourful paints, adding intricate designs and patterns. Some even sprinkled glitter and decorative mirrors to make their diyas sparkle. The classroom transformed into a colourful palette of creativity, each diya reflecting the unique personality of its young artist.
As the activity came to a close, the students proudly displayed their finished diyas. Their faces were filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. The diyas, a symbol of light and hope, served as a reminder of the spirit of Diwali.
