Shivrati Special Assembly (Grade 1 & 2)

 "On this Mahashivratri, May Lord Shiva bless you with peace, prosperity, and happiness." A special assembly was conducted by the students of grade 2 Strawberry. It began with the Gayatri Mantra and prayer song sung by all the students followed by Hindi and English thoughts of the day. A beautiful poem was recited by Aanvi and Aanya. Solo dance was performed by Srinika Sanyal. Amazing facts about lord Shiva were presented by the students. A wonderful group dance was performed by the students.  "Embrace the teachings of lord Shiva, for in simplicity, you will find the truth". Students showed their feelings towards lord Shiva through this assembly. Respected Principal Ma'am, Ms. Shiva Yadav appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on Shivratri and encouraged the students towards prayer and religious values. The national anthem was sung by the students at the end of the assembly.

World Tiger Day III-V

 World Tiger Day, also known as International Tiger Day, is celebrated annually on July 29 to raise awareness about the critical need for tiger conservation. Established in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit, the day highlights the alarming decline in wild tiger populations and the efforts needed to protect their habitats and ensure their survival. With fewer than 4,000 tigers left in the wild, World Tiger Day emphasizes the importance of global collaboration among governments, conservation organizations, and communities to safeguard these magnificent creatures and their ecosystems for future generations. For spreading the awareness about the same , an informative video was shown to the children of class III-V , followed up by the discussion  session .

Grain sorting Activity Pre Primary

  Grain sorting To develop fine motor skills in young ones is very much important. It makes a grip to hold pencil or crayon properly which naturally gives effect in the writing. Today, Children of LKG did an activity of sorting grains, where they had sorted Rajma beans and chick peas separately. It developed their pincer grip, fine motor skill as well as hand eye co-ordination. Each and every child enjoyed this activity.
