Tell a Tale

*“A story cannot be devised; it has to be distilled.”*

A story is a connected series of events told through words (written or spoken), imagery (still and moving), body language, performance, music, or any other form of communication.
Stories are a rich and varied source of language learning opportunities. Stories can help us learn about others and to find understanding and empathy for them and their situations. Whether we actually know the individual or not, hearing their story evokes feelings within us. Stories let us share information in a way that creates an emotional connection.
In children, storytelling provides many psychological and educational benefits, such as enhanced imagination to help visualize spoken words, improved vocabulary, and more refined communication skills.
This ability to learn from stories is a skill that will help our students throughout their lives. In addition to academic goals, stories enrich lives and provide guidance to living.
Today, in our school 🎒📚we organized an event of ‘Tell a Tale’. It helped our students to enhance their vocabulary and get many educational benefits. The children were fascinated by the story and all of them agreed that it was the most beautiful story📕 they had ever heard.
