Haryana Day Celebration(Grade I-II)

Haryana means the “Land of God” and we certainly have Gods residing on our auspicious land. Haryana was constituted on November 1, 1966. Since, this day we celebrate every year November 1 as Haryana day. Haryana is well known for it’s folk music, dance, handicrafts, pottery and weaving.

To make the students aware about the state, a “Haryana day activity” was organised for the students of GRADE 1&2. The students were told to write few lines about the state and even draw pictures. Students wrote such good things about the state, that we were surprised as been so small they all know so much. Few students even draw beautiful pictures in which they exhibited about the well known things of Haryana.

It was really amazing how the students were taking so much interest to know about the importance of the Haryana state and even sharing their knowledge as well.
