RPS Gurugram 89 - Activities (Junior)

  "Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates harmony." The 8th International Yoga Day was celebrated by the pre-primary section of RPS International School, Sec 89 with great enthusiasm and fervour. To strengthen ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually through Yoga and make the kids practice yoga at their homes with participation from the entire family, our blooming buds did yoga and various asanas under the guidance of their parents and shared the glimpses of the same.

  International Yoga Day is celebrated on 21st June every year to spread the awareness about the importance and health benefits of yoga. The theme for this year is " YOGA FOR HUMANITY". Yoga helps to balance the body and mind. Yoga is widely practiced for health and relaxation, its roots are in the ancient India and are considered as an ascetic Hindu spiritual discipline practice. To show the importance of yoga in our daily life, our students of GRADE I-II took part in the yoga practice and these young minds gracefully demonstrated different forms of asanas and they took pledge to keep themselves healthy and to follow a good lifestyle.

"Yoga is the dance of every cell with the music of every breath that creates inner serenity and Harmony ." Yoga is the study of balance , the balance is the aim of all living creatures. At RPS , We too understand the importance of Yoga . To promote the spirit of practicing yoga , students of Class III-V were encouraged to perform yoga and they participated well . Yoga heals the soul.  

"Daddy, you are strong and tall, Stay by me and catch me whenever I fall Batman, Spiderman and Superman there be I look up to you as my Superhero to be. I will follow your steps, wherever you go, You are my pride, Daddy, do you know! The little RPSians of RPS International School, Sec-89 in order to make their daddies proud and pay filial respect and gratitude, celebrated Father's Day in a spectacular way. Making cards, dancing to tunes, reciting rhymes, preparing a dish and gifting gifts to their beloved fathers. The occasion turned out to be grand as fathers and kids participated in activities with enthusiasm and the entire occasion became touching and rejuvenating.  

  “ A father is someone you look up to no matter how tall you grow.” The children of RPSians were excited to have their fathers with them for the activity. It was lovely to see the father-child duo sitting together and spending quality time. Children along with their fathers enthusiastically participated in bonding session that included card making activity. It was fun to see the fathers doing lot of things with their kids. The children giggled and enjoyed making cards for their fathers.
