SUMMER CAMP: DAY 4 SCIENCE ACTIVITY

“We should not teach children the sciences; but give them a taste for them.” - Rousseau

Science is the study of facts. At the same time Science is also about discovering the world around us, of knowing things and having new and wonderful idea. For fostering scientific learning in early childhood ,hands on learning is very important. And this can be best achieved through scientific experiments.

We at RPS, believe the same and hence experiments were performed by budding scientists of LKG on 26th May 2022.
*Pepper and Soap *Experiment- The aim of this experiment is to help children understand the importance of washing hands. It’s a hygienic practice that all kids must learn.
Walking Water (Colour *Theory) *- The aim of this theory is to explain why the colour changes when they are mixed inside the empty jars.

It was a fun activity where students intellectual curiosity was nurtured in play way method.
