RPS Gurugram 89 - Activities (Junior)

 INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY Dance is the joy of movement and heart of life. To emphasize the significance of Dance, a special assembly on International Dance Day was presented by the students of Class V Patience on 29th April, 2022. The program began with the prayer, preceded by news headlines and thought of the day. The assembly commenced with beautiful dance performances by the students. Primary Head, Ms. Ruchi Verma Gehlot, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on Dance Day. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the  assembly.

  " The colour of love and smiles that illuminates the air with energy , vigour and exuberance...….." Red, the colour of blood and fire, is associated with meanings of love, sensitivity, joy, strength, leadership and determination. It symbolizes action, confidence and courage. To celebrate the colour "RED COLOUR DAY" was organized on 27th April,2022. The tiny tots along with their teachers looked stunning in their red outfits. The shades of red made the kids feel bright, lively and cheerful. The day started off with the colour red everywhere. students were explained the significance and objects that are in red colour such as apples, cherries, strawberries, watermelon, roses, heart, ladybug etc. To enhance their learning, kids were engaged in various activities such as tearing and pasting, thumb printing and colouring. The Red Day Celebration was a fun, wonderful and everlasting learning experience for the kids.

  Dance is a powerful expression, It speaks to Earth and Heaven. It speaks of our joy, our fear, and our wishes. Dance speaks of the intangible, yet reveals the state of mind of a person,  the temperaments and characters of people. On the occasion of "INTERNATIONAL DANCE DAY" a special assembly was conducted on 26th April 2022 by Grade I and II students. Students dressed themselves in beautiful attire of different countries and delivered a speech on the  famous dance forms of the respective countries. Also a graceful dance was performed on this special occasion. Life is like a dance, sometimes we know the steps and sometimes we make them up. So  keep dancing to the changing rhythms of life to enjoy it the most.  Happy International Dance Day 2022!

  "Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility." To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students, Hindi Poem Recitation Activity ( NANHE KAVI) was organized for the pre-primary kids of LKG and UKG classes. Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of expression, feeling, rhyme and rhythm of the poems. Students touched different areas with their impressive poems. Props used by them enhanced their presentation.  The main aim behind conducting such activities is to build self confidence, improve vocabulary, help kids to get rid of stage fear, develop the oratory skills and self expression. Overall it was a very enriching and enjoyable experience for all the kids and the teachers.
