Brown Colour Day Activity

 "Brown is mud, brown is toast

Brown is chocolate, and a Sunday roast."

Brown is the colour that evokes strength, reliability and helps us to relate with nature and earth. Brown is the colour of earth, wood and stones. Shades of brown convey concepts of earth-friendly and all natural.

To take this forward , the children of Pre-Primary Section of RPS Sec 89 celebrated 'Brown Colour Day' with full enthusiasm. All the kids along with their teachers were dressed up in Brown colour attires. Kids were explained about making of brown colour by mixing red and green together. They were encouraged to find and name various brown coloured objects. Thereafter they did various art and craft activities related to brown colour such as making of bear face mask, making a hanging monkey with hand print and making of potato head craft.

These activities help the kids develop their fine motor and gross motor skills. All the kids enjoyed learning about brown colour and it was a fun filled activity.

Picnic for Grades- IV and V

 "Life is all about having good times. Love is sharing Popcorn." A picnic is a fun and relaxing way to build memories and enjoy the presence of others that too just after the stress of exams. Keeping that in mind , RPS International School, Sector-89 organised a picnic for Grades-  IV and V to watch Movie "Puss in the boots " at Esplanade Mall sector 37 C. Students were accompanied by their teachers and had a great time with their friends and teachers. They enjoyed watching movie with some snacks and popcorn with their friends. It was a great experience for them. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the day and their excitement continued even after they returned. Indeed, it was a great day for all the students and the teachers. It was a sound and safe return by 2 pm, "Cheers".
