Role Play Activity

 "We can always make a difference to someone, no matter what role we play." Roleplay is an activity presenting a small act where the participant gets an opportunity to imitate different characters. It offers a chance to the participants to gain experience, showcase speaking and presentation skills. So in order to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the little ones, A Roleplay Activity was organized for Pre-Primary kids. The excitement of our young ones knew no bounds as they waited for their turn to perform about their favourite wild, pet or water animals and also about their favourite Ramayana character. The students portrayed themselves with great conviction and confidence. It proved to be a great learning experience for all the children.

Guru Nanak Jayanti Celebration

 "He who has no faith in himself, can never have faith in god." The 552nd birthday of Sikh Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated virtually with great enthusiasm and devotion by the teachers, students on 18th Nov,2021. The students were apprised by the teachings and principles of the pious soul, Guru Nanak Dev.  A serene and calm atmosphere was created by the soothing 'Mool Mantra' sung by the kids of the pre-primary classes during the virtual celebration. Students excitedly did various activities related to it such as making of the symbol of Sikhs 'Khanda' and also drawing and colouring of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and gurudwara also. The celebration concluded with festive spirit and pious gaiety amongst the students.

Children's Day Activity

 "There is no garden as beautiful as childhood as it is a blessing and the most fun filled phase of life. " A day marking childhood - Children's day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary fighter, popularly known as 'Chacha Nehru'.  The day was celebrated with fun and frolic at RPS Sec -89 on virtual platform by pre primary kids. Kids were made comfortable and enjoyed kids movie being organised for them by the teachers. They also made crafts for themselves like Nehru Cap, blowing trunk elephant and kite making.  Kids were everwhelmed and enjoyed the day to the fullest.

Diwali Celebration

 "It is the time to remove the darkness of ignorance within us and replace it with the light of hope and knowledge instead." To keep up this festive spirit the Pre-Primary section of RPS, Sec-89 witnessed a hearty bonding by celebrating Diwali through virtual platform on 2nd Nov, 2021. Children were told the story of Lord Rama, how he returned to his kingdom after the exile of 14 years with his wife Sita and brother Laxman. They were also told that on diwali we worship Goddess Laxmi and Lord Ganesha and decorate our houses with flowers, lights and rangoli.  Students of pre-primary classes made various Diwali crafts such as Diyas and Candles, Chandelier, Wall Hanging decorated with Diyas for themselves. They were also shown a video related to Diwali. The students of Classes 1 & 2 had a fun activity of  ‘wall hanging- making’.
