STEM WEEK 2020

In an effort to boost students' interest in and awareness of STEM education, RPSians celebrated STEM Week. During this week-long celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, our motivated explorers created Simple Machines out of Waste Material .The students not only learnt through exploration, but also developed an understanding of scientific and engineering processes, along with the importance of empathy towards our planet and fellow human beings, the true end and essence of education.

Ganesh Chaturthi 2020

Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrates the arrival of the lord of wisdom, Lord Ganesha to earth signifying the new beginnings and a fresh start. This festival is one of the most awaited ones and is celebrated with great pomp and show throughout the country. The situation is different this year due to Covid-19, but the devotion and feelings of the devotees are the same. May the grace of Lord Ganesha give us strength to defeat this deadly pandemic and enable whole humanity to have a fresh start. RPSians Pay Homage To Freedom Fighters

  Today, we are breathing the air of freedom because of the efforts of the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives in service of the country. The RPS Buds along with their teachers, resolved to offer their tribute to each one of them and, also acknowledge the efforts put in by all the COVID warriors during these unprecedented times, to safeguard our nation. We salute and celebrate the spirit of Independence. Happy Independence Day to one and all!

Janmashtami at RPS89

RPS89 celebrated Janamashtami on 10 and 11 August, 2020, to commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna. The ongoing pandemic notwithstanding, the RPSians joyfully participated in numerous online activities to mark the special occasion in its traditional hues and characteristic style.Teachers introduced the young students to Lord Krishna by narrating the story of his birth and childhood. Listening to Bal Gopal’s childhood adventures brought smiles to the faces of the little ones. S ince Matki and Flute were inseparable parts of the young Kanha’s personality, an exciting decoration activity was organized by all the classes, online. The artistic Buds were encouraged to embellish Lord Krishna’s flutes with vibrant colours. This was followed by a Matki-making activity using cut-outs of chart paper and cotton. Raksha Bandhan - Bond of Love, Protection & Care

The festival of  # RakshaBandhan  is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the eternal bond of love between brothers and sisters. On the occasion, the young and artistic buds used their creativity and ingenuity to create dazzling colourful rakhis using decorative material and old rakhis. The sight of our children holding their own masterpiece was one to behold.The combined efforts of our teachers and parents helped make this a rewarding, fun-filled and thoroughly enjoyable activity.
