  25th April 2022, Kindergarten Assembly :Theme- Never Give Up We learn a lot when we keep going and decide not to give up. We can learn that there are hidden strengths and potentials within us. We learn how to keep ourselves motivated. More importantly, we decide not to give up, and we learn how we can effectively convert our failures to success.  Keeping this theme in the minds, the assembly was organised by the teachers and students of UKG Carnation. It was mesmerising to see our tiny tots promising that they will always say I can do it instead of saying I cannot.

PAPER BAG MAKING ACTIVITY

 "I don't want to protect the environment, I want to create a  world where the environment doesn't need protection." On the occasion of "EARTH DAY",  students of GRADE I & II, took the initiative to learn the new ways of living life futuristically. Seeding young minds with awareness and sustainability of environment is our new motto. So, "PAPER BAG MAKING ACTIVITY"  was conducted in the school premises. The activity was conducted  to show the importance of newspaper which are easily recyclable and biodegradable. Newspapers are environment friendly and will make the planet healthier. The activity turned out to be fun and filled with learning all together.

World Earth Day Activity (Kindergarten Wing)

"The earth is what we all have in common. " World Earth Day is celebrated on 22nd April each year to spread awareness about conserving earth.  On the occasion of the earth day, various activities were organized with a view to motivate children to do their bit towards making the planet even more beautiful. The importance of Earth day was discussed and students took a pledge to preserve and conserve the planet.  Little RPSians enthusiastically participated in various hands on activities such as earbud printing , sponge printing and colouring. It proved to be a great learning experience for all the children.

Special Assembly (Earth Day)

  “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.”            Mahatma Gandhi To emphasize the significance of Earth, a special assembly on Earth Day was presented by the students of Class V Integrity on 22nd April, 2022.The program began with the prayer, preceded by news headlines and thought of the day. The assembly commenced with the soulful poem ‘The Earth is ours to enjoy’. This was followed by a short speech signifying the importance of our planet. Primary Head, Ms. Ruchi Verma Gehlot, appreciated the efforts of the students and shared a few words on Earth Day. National Anthem was sung by all the children at the end of the assembly.

Best out of Waste Activity

  " Reuse your Today so that you don't have to reduce Tomorrow " Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the activity held on Earth Day  We tiny tots of RPSIS from grade III-V conducted this activity Best out of Waste. Students were thrilled to participate in the activity with full of zeal and zest. We teachers focused on the students to make them understand the importance of preserving our environment and learn more about sustainability. We should not throw the waste, use them wisely instead. The aim behind the activity was to bring out the creativity of the students. This was indeed a joyful activity culminated with the sparks of ignited ideas and truly an effort for the holistic development of our young minds.
