RPS Gurugram 89 - Activities (Junior)

  "Be the change you wish to see in the world."            -Mahatma Gandhi Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will. India's 3rd National festival Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated by the students of UKG Phoenix on 1st October with zeal, enthusiasm and patriotism. The Assembly started with Bapu's favourite bhajan "Vaishnaov Vjanto" sung by the children, continued by thought of the day. The little ones highlighted the significance of Salt Satyagraha in our freedom struggle. The Assembly concluded by giving a deep insight into the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi.

  Our UKG kids had a fantastic time learning CVC 'o' family words with a creative twist! The little ones matched apple-shaped cutouts, each containing a word, with the apples hanging on a tree. This hands-on activity helped reinforce their understanding of phonics while making learning both enjoyable and engaging.

  Our LKG kids had an wonderful day of learning where they arranged the numbers using pixomo kit. The little ones were introduced to a fun and interactive way to recognising and arranging the numbers.In this activity, each child was given the number board and the lace.They were asked to lace the dodging numbers as well as in sequence. This activity was designed to make learning numbers a joyful experience.

*"Blue is the color of sky- the limit of your imagination, the beginning of our dreams."* Blue is a cool and calming color that shows creativity, intelligence, trust, loyalty,confidence and truth. In order to empathise the importance of blue colour, little RPSians celebrated *BLUE COLOR DAY* in pre primary wing . All the teachers and students were dressed up in different shades and hues of blue. Various activities were conducted by kids such as : ✓ Playgroup kids made fishes ✓ Nursery kids made blue birds ✓ LKG kids made aeroplane ✓ UKG kids made a sailing ship Blue Color Day was an amazing experience which had a long lasting effect on every student. Children enjoyed the activities with immense enthusiasm and zeal.
