RPS Gurugram 89 - Activities (Junior)

 Day 7: Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red On Tuesday, we wrapped up Rainbow Week by celebrating all the colours of VIBGYOR. We had a colourful parade, created collaborative art, and enjoyed a rainbow-themed party. We took the oath to stop using plastic bags, so we made a newspaper bag with a colourful handprint on it and sang songs about the rainbow. It was a magical grand finale, with everyone dressed in as many colours as possible!

 Day 6: Orange On Day 6, we had a vibrant celebration of Orange colour. We learned about how to create beautiful artwork of popsicles with ice-cream sticks causing shades of orange and red. We also had a special snack time with delicious orange fruits and explored the world of Orange colour animals. Everyone dressed up in fiery orange and red outfits, making it an energetic and fun-filled day!  

 "सरफरोशी की तमन्ना ,अब हमारे दिल में हैं,देखना है जोर कितना बाजुएं कातिल में है।" India is indubitably the land of brave warriors, we fight to claim what is ours. Our Indian army is brimful of hardihood and in the year 1999, the world witnessed it when we conquered Kargil War against Pakistan.    With heartfelt appreciation, a special assembly  began to commemorate  and celebrate the sincere and unmatchable efforts of the Indian Army in the form of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Special assembly was performed by Grade II Candy cream with school prayer and thought of the day in Hindi and in English. The assembly comprised of an anecdote stating the significance of the crucial day, this small yet powerful speech charged up the entire audience with a feeling of pride and nationalism. Day 5 : Yellow Day 5 brought us the cheerful colour yellow! We explored the bright and sunny side of the life. We created pineapple crafts, sang songs about the pineapple and rainbows, and learned about the importance of sunshine and vitamin D. It was a day filled with laughter and a juicy day as we celebrated the colour yellow. Everyone dressed in their brightest yellow clothes, adding an extra dose of brightness to the day!    

 Day 4: Green It was time to go green on Thursday! We explored the wonders of nature, and the beautiful green colour animals, learned about trees, plants, and the environment. We took nature walks, pasted the green frogs, and planted seeds to watch them grow. We also talked about recycling and ways we can take care of our planet. Everyone dressed up in their best green attire became little environmentalists for the day!
