"A story can imbibe the right value in the most impressionable age." Stories always gives wings to our imagination and takes us to places beyond the boundaries of physical world. In our quest to promote academic excellence and encourage students , RPSIS-89 organised a Story Telling Activity for Pre - Primary kids. The students participated with their tremendous effort to make this activity a successful one. The stories that they narrated were moral based and these young story tellers used a variety of props to make their stories interesting and expressive. Each story concluded with a moral highlighting different values of life. The oratory and presentation skills of the tiny tots were marvelous and outstanding.

Maha Shivratri is a festival of great religious importance in India that is celebrated with tremendous enthusiasm and devotion across the country. It is predominantly observed to honour Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati and marks the day they were married. Every year, millions of people take part in the traditional rituals associated with this festival, such as puja, hawan, and the chanting of mantras. To celebrate this wonderful festival, Damru Making Activity was planned for classes III-V on *Friday , 17 February. All the students made beautiful damrus and enjoyed the activity.

"When you focus on being a blessing, God makes sure that you are always blessed in abundance" Joel Osteen Mahashivaratri Festival or the The Night of Shiva is celebrated with devotion and religious fervor in honour of Lord Shiva; one of the deities of Hindu Trinity. Celebrating the festival of 'Shivratri' devotees observe day and night fast to appease Lord Shiva. To feel the verve of festival, a special assembly on Mahashivratri was conducted by the students of RPSIS-89. Festival celebrated in veneration of Lord Shiva commenced with the morning prayer followed by a speech sharing the significance of the pious day. Powers and the role of Lord Shiva in the natural cycle were highlighted through a theatrical dance performance with 'Tandav' depicting the celebration of Mahashivratri. The auspiciousness of this day for Goddess Parvati was exhibited, and heartfelt prayers were offered to Lord Shiva by all. Everyone has swayed away with the chanting of sacred mantr

"India is not a Nation nor a country, it is a subcontinent of nationalities." The RPS international School Sec- 89 conducted a special assembly on the topic, "NATIONAL SYMBOLS" for the little scholars of grade I and II.The main purpose of this assembly was to give the knowledge about our National symbols to the students. Students dressed up in the get up of our National Symbols like - Peacock, Tiger, Mango, Trianga. Students explained a few lines on National Symbols in which they were dressed up. The assembly commenced with a brief introduction on this topic by the host of the assembly Vanshit Nehra and Mokshada Sharma. Prayer was started by gayatri mantra followed by English and hindi Thought. Our national song Vande mataram sang by students of choir group. Students performed fantastic dance related to the National Symbols of India, which made a mystical atmosphere with rhythm and symphony.
