RPS Gurugram 89 - Activities (Junior)

 "A child deserves a champion - a teacher  Who will never give up on them,  who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best that they can possible be."  Special assembly by Grade 1&2 was conducted where a  radio show, A  talk with RPSGOS Chairperson ma'am, Dr.Pavitra Rao and CEO Sir, Er.Manish Rao was showcased. The power of radio is not that it speaks to millions,But that it speaks intimately and privately to each one of those millions.Anchors took the stage and offered a lively introduction of the assembly. Assembly was started by Gayatri Mantra proceeding by prayer song then radio show in which students of grade II became RJs , Chairperson Maam and CEO Sir. It was a special talk with these unique personalities of RPS. In between, students also perform advertisements, jokes, and news, and special effects were added by the choir group in between the talk show. Students of Grade I and II presented a beautiful dance with the help of which

 "A chance for children to think 'out of the box' a little and invite their teacher and classmates to come into their own little world for a minute or two." As a part of the preschool curriculum 'Show n Tell' is an important part in a child's learning development as it helps to organise information and build confidence. Each child's social, emotional and language skills grow and develop from this activity.  So, an activity was organised for the Pre-Primary kids wherein they presented  themselves as their favourite farm, wild or pet animals and community helpers. They all brought nice and beautiful props for presentation and confidently spoke about it. This activity was extremely enjoyed by the kids.

 "Shades of yellow stimulates our little ones with happiness, energy and optimism.... " Yellow is the colour of glory, sunshine and happiness. The colour also stands for freshness, positivity, intellect and joy.  With an objective to learn colours, a day dedicated to the yellow colour was marked with the children who were dressed in different hues and tints of yellow. The little kids were excited to participate in various activities such as colouring in yellow coloured objects, making a smiley for themselves.  It was an amazing learning experience for the kids. All the students were happy and enjoyed to the fullest.

  "Life is too short to have a boring hairstyle." We should always do things to make our life interesting and happening, so that we don't get bored. As hairs are a very important part of our body and it is like a crown which we wear everyday. With our hairs, we can do interesting things by styling them in distinct way. Everyone has their own talent and way to style their hairs. To see how talented our little ones are and how stylishly they can do their hairs. All the students had styled their hairs in a funky way and we were not able to recognize them as they were looking different. All of them were looking cool and they were happy also by showing they different look to all their friends. The students posed in a stylish way for the pictures. It was good to see all the happy faces and different looks of our children.

Science contributes significantly to the production of knowledge and thus contributes to the functioning of democracies, drives innovation and helps countries to be competitive in the global economy. Science can never offer a universal truth or an objective representation of the world. Quiz is an assessment done to measure knowledge, abilities and skills. Keeping this in mind, Inter house Science Quiz was planned for Class IV-V on   Wednesday, 16 November, 2022. Students took active participation in the quiz . All four houses did great job in the competition . Winners were awarded with the certificates . The event was motivational and knowledgeable for all.
