Assembly (Theme: Rakshabandhan )

Rakhi is the thread that binds two souls in a bond of joy forever.
A love between a brother and a sister is one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions.
'Raksha Bandhan' is a special occasion to celebrate this emotional bonding when a sister ties a Rakhi - a holy thread - around her brother's wrist, and prays for his long life and the brother reciprocates by offering her the gifts she loves the most.
Rakshabandhan was the topic of an enlightening assembly which was conducted by the sparkling students of V Bal Gangadhar Tilak on 28 August 2023.
The assembly started with a prayer and was followed by a motivating thought for the day. The news headlines were next in line which was preceded by an informative speech on this beautiful festival. The enthusiastic students showcased the spirit of Rakshabandhan through a mesmerizing dance performance.
At last but not least, Principal Ma'am, Ms.Shiva Yadav, admired the performance and appreciated the efforts put in by the young ones.

The assembly concluded with the National Anthem which was sung by all.

Picnic for Grades- IV and V

 "Life is all about having good times. Love is sharing Popcorn." A picnic is a fun and relaxing way to build memories and enjoy the presence of others that too just after the stress of exams. Keeping that in mind , RPS International School, Sector-89 organised a picnic for Grades-  IV and V to watch Movie "Puss in the boots " at Esplanade Mall sector 37 C. Students were accompanied by their teachers and had a great time with their friends and teachers. They enjoyed watching movie with some snacks and popcorn with their friends. It was a great experience for them. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the day and their excitement continued even after they returned. Indeed, it was a great day for all the students and the teachers. It was a sound and safe return by 2 pm, "Cheers".
