One Minute Talk Show

RPS89 on its sojourn of pedagogical excellence, organised one min Talk Show on Wednesday August 28, 2019 for second Grade students to instill confidence among them to speak confidently on the topics provided. As it’s short and fast, it gives everyone in the class a chance to participate. Having been allotted a stipulated time, the speeches delivered by participants were beyond excellence. It was astounding to see how the participants spoke eloquently and delivered a stream of consciousness that was fluent and articulate. 

Subject Enrichment Activity-Learning Lifeskills

Subject Enrichment Activities(SEA) gives students a platform to exhibit their learning outcomes. During the SEA, the students are divided into groups and allowed to present their learning in the forms of collage, charts, outdoor activity etc. Students of grade V were enthusiastic and engrossed during their activity. The SEA was integrated with the language skills and grouped under different topics such as ‘Road Safety', 'Fire Safety', First Aid etc. At the end of the activity the students developed the attitude of cooperation, open mindedness and implemented their creative skills.

National Sports Day

Celebrating the National Sports Day of India on 29th August, 2019 commemorating the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian hockey player, Major Dhyan Chand Singh, RPS International School Sec-89, gave a befitting tribute to the icon by organizing a special assembly highlighting and applauding the Major’s life.The assembly started with a morning prayer followed with Pledge , Thought for the day, News Headlines. The main objective of the assembly was to enlighten the students with the significance of National Sports Day . Principal Dr Roopa Marwaha  Bhalla on the occasion said, “We observe the National Sports Day with the aim of instilling a sense of love and respect towards sports in the minds of young children.  Apart from commemorating the great Hockey wizard Dhyan Chand, the day is also considered to be an occasion for encouraging young RPSians to take up various sporting activities as a profession and make a name for not only themselves but for their country as well.”

Grandparents' Day Celebration Part II

Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. To show the love and respect towards grandparents, the little Damsels and Rockstars of LKG celebrated Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday, August 21 2019 at RPS International School Sec-89,Gurugram. Dr. O.P. Yadav, founder director of RPSGOS was the guest of honor for the occasion. Young RPSians presented a variety of cultural programs which enthral led the gathering. And as a mark of their affection and respect for their grandparents, the children left no stone unturned to make this day special for them. Various games were conducted for grandparents as part of the celebration and the winners were felicitated with prizes by the Principal, Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla.
