National Sports Day Assembly
“ Life is incomplete without sports, it's the time to refresh our mind so play as much as you can.” It was a great pleasure for the Grade II Blueberry to conduct the morning assembly on National Sports Day. The assembly started with a morning prayer followed with Gayatri Mantra,school prayer,Pledge, and Thought of the day. The main objective of the assembly was to enlighten the students about the significance of National Sports Day. 29th of August, 1905 is the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the greatest hockey player India has ever produced. The assembly was addressed by a Class Teacher who made kids aware of the contributions of Major Dhyan Chand who won six gold medals in the Olympics for India and was the first Indian to achieve the Padma Bhushan award and the Dronacharya award in the field of hockey.
