Teaching children about Republic Day is a great way to instill patriotism and a sense of belongingness in the young hearts. The Pre-Primary Department of RPS enthusiastically celebrated the 72nd Republic Day virtually. The celebrations began with an explanation of the significance of this national festival, celebrated on 26th January every year, through interactive virtual discussions. The Preamble to the Constitution was read out and national symbols were discussed in all classes. Subsequently, while the Pre-Nursery buds got making tri-colour chains, the LKG buds participated joyfully in making Tri-coloured fans. The Kindergarten buds exhibited their dexterity at creating tri-coloured cards. The online sessions were filled with joyous fervour and the week-long festivities concluded with the students saluting the national flag and promising to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness of our country.

"𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 RPS89" As part of the virtual learning experience being offered to our Little Buds, the students participated enthusiastically in 'Brown Colour' Activity. Learned Leaders planned a plethora of activities which reiterated the significance of the colour. It was a visual treat to watch our little munchkins enjoying, learning, and developing their cognitive and visual skills in a fun way. The credit must be shared by our parents who were involved with our blooming buds and made this activity a grand success!

It is a way of remembering the sun deity Surya and is celebrated with the lighting of a bonfire, which is considered an ancient tradition. On this festive occasion, RPSians celebrated Lohri with full fun and fervour. Pre-primary students did the bonfire craft activity and burned away the sadness and brought warmth, joy and happiness. Let’s have a look at their smiling faces.
