Assembly (Hariyali Teej)

The Hariyali Teej festival holds significance as it marks the reunion of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Goddess Parvati, also known as Teej Mata, observed austere fasting for many years before being accepted as lord Shiva's spouse in her 108th birth. To celebrate this auspicious occasion, Grade I students of Litchi organized a special Teej Festival assembly. The event commenced with the chanting of the 'Gayatri Mantra' and a prayer song sung by all students.  With great enthusiasm, the students performed a Teej mashup dance and recited a beautiful Hindi kavita (poem) related to Teej. At last, students all sang a beautiful song. The assembly concluded with the adorable toddlers singing the national anthem, symbolizing the essence of unity and pride. Our respected Principal ma'am, Ms. Shiva Yadav praised the students' energy and enthusiasm, acknowledging their commendable efforts in organizing a delightful and engaging assembly to celebrate the Teej Festival.
