Republic Day - Spirit that keeps us together

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at RPS International School Sec-89  on 24th January 2020.  The students pledged themselves to upholding the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “ India”.

The colorful presentation which was a beautiful amalgamation of dance and music was conducted to instill the spirit of national pride and love for the country. The choir group presented the patriotic song “ Ae Vatan Mere Vatan" which spread the vibes of nationalism and patriotism among the viewers.

Tejanwini from class VI spoke on the topic of Republic Day which was very informative. The students learnt about the drafting of the Constitution of India and why this particular day was named Republic Day. This was followed by spell binding dance recital by our school dance troupe as a tribute to our gallant martyrs.  It was impressive to note the stage presence each presenter displayed.
The Principal, Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla, and School Administrator, Ms.Shiva Yadav applauded the performance of the students and urged them to do their best and always feel proud of being Indians. In her address, Principal also mentioned that the school almanac is Constitution for students and they should always read it and abide by the rules and regulations of the school.
Students not only enjoyed the day but went home as proud and happy Indians.
