Earth Day-Seed Germination Activity

Earth Day is a Day that is supposed to inspire more awareness and appreciation for the Earth's Natural Environment. As a mark of respect for this day, Students of Pre-Primary - Class II celebrated Earth Day on Monday April 22,2019 at RPS International School, Sector 89 Gurugram with great Enthusiasm. The younger children sowed a few seeds in the soil in disposable cups and were happy to see them sprout and grow into small plants.Through this activity the children were taught the importance of growing plants to sustain the environment and for a better livelihood.
The idea is to build a generation of children who will become environmental caretakers.
