Grandparents' Day Celebration



Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. To show the love and respect towards grandparents, the Little Damsels and Rockstars of Pre Primary celebrated Grandparents’ Day on Saturday, September 29 2018 at RPS International School Sec-89,Gurugram. The Little RPSians presented a variety of cultural programmes which enthralled the gathering. And as a mark of their affection and respect for their grandparents, the children left no stone unturned to make this day special for them.

 Various games were conducted for grandparents as part of the celebration and the winners were felicitated with prizes by the Principal, Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla. Special Prizes were given for the most Punctual Grandparents to Ms.Krishna Devi and Mr.Kuldeep Singh Malik,the Most Well-dress couple to Mrs & Mr. Ashwini Kumar Trehan, and the Youngest couple to Mrs & Mr. Anita & Bhupendra Tyagi. Grandparents were very happy to witness this event and a few of them came forward and appreciated the programme through short verses and words. An overjoyed Grand Parent lauded the school’s effort. “The school is doing a great job of reviving moral values in our society.”  This was followed by refreshments and interaction with the teachers. The Programme concluded with the vote of thanks by School Coordinator Ms.Shiva Yadav.

Picnic for Grades- IV and V

 "Life is all about having good times. Love is sharing Popcorn." A picnic is a fun and relaxing way to build memories and enjoy the presence of others that too just after the stress of exams. Keeping that in mind , RPS International School, Sector-89 organised a picnic for Grades-  IV and V to watch Movie "Puss in the boots " at Esplanade Mall sector 37 C. Students were accompanied by their teachers and had a great time with their friends and teachers. They enjoyed watching movie with some snacks and popcorn with their friends. It was a great experience for them. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the day and their excitement continued even after they returned. Indeed, it was a great day for all the students and the teachers. It was a sound and safe return by 2 pm, "Cheers".
