Special Assembly- Gandhi Jayanti

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”
Gandhiji demonstrated, propagated and insisted for individual and community cleanliness throughout his life. The special assembly, presented by Grade IV on 1st Oct’19, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, was a humble effort by the students to reinforce this message and carry it forward to realize the dream of Mahatma Gandhi.The assembly began with the mellifluous rendition of school prayer 'Everything I am...'. The skit presented by the children communicated the quintessential message that every hand and every bit counts in helping to realise the vision of ‘Swachh Bharat’. The school principal,Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla ,in her address, reminded the children that we have to keep alive the Gandhi existing in each one of us by following his principles of truth and non-violence. She also reiterated that cleanliness has to start from our homes and school which will in turn bring the larger change of a clean India.

Picnic for Grades- IV and V

 "Life is all about having good times. Love is sharing Popcorn." A picnic is a fun and relaxing way to build memories and enjoy the presence of others that too just after the stress of exams. Keeping that in mind , RPS International School, Sector-89 organised a picnic for Grades-  IV and V to watch Movie "Puss in the boots " at Esplanade Mall sector 37 C. Students were accompanied by their teachers and had a great time with their friends and teachers. They enjoyed watching movie with some snacks and popcorn with their friends. It was a great experience for them. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the day and their excitement continued even after they returned. Indeed, it was a great day for all the students and the teachers. It was a sound and safe return by 2 pm, "Cheers".
